At age 15, Lima finished first in Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" competition, and took second place the following year in the Ford "Supermodel of the World" competition before signing with Elite Model Management in New York City.

Camila Alves

Camila Alves is a Brazilian model and television performer. Alves arrived in Los Angeles, California at the young age of fifteen to visit her aunt, and never left. After working for four years as a house-cleaner and waitress, she successfully learned English and decided to make America her home. At nineteen, Alves moved to New York to pursue a career as a fashion model. Her new profession took her around the world: from Paris to Milan, China, Africa, and many destinations in between.In 2010, Alves hosted the Bravo Network's third season of their reality television show, Shear Genius.
