Velvet and glitter.You can never accuse Betsey Johnson of 2 things: being boring or being establishment. She's always infused her collections with a rock and roll feel, but with this one, with "He loves me, he loves me not” as the theme, she's thrown together a melange composed of punk, Edwardian, goth, hippie, glam AND rock ‘n’ roll inspirations. The colors are rich, bordering on psychedelic, the prints are bold and mixed with each other, and the plaids are a very punk rock tartan. We like the richness of this collection. The fabrics and colors make you want to reach out and touch these clothes. But we wouldn't advise it, because the girl wearing them looks like she can kick your ass.
